Well that was an inglorious beginning

Let's hope that in the future we can do better than one post every six months.

OK, an introduction. I'm in my early thirties, single, interested in matters of faith, service, social justice, and community, alternating between thinking that I have quite a lot to offer the world if only I could figure out what it was, and realizing that I haven't figured it out yet.

I want to use this space to think out loud a little about some of these issues and hopefully join in some of the interesting conversations zooming around the "blogosphere."

So my friend Rachel has been after me to start a blog for the last few years now. I finally gave in. (Hence the title.) Not exactly sure yet what's going to end up here but we'll see as we go along, won't we?
